NOKIAN FOOTWEAR has been manufactured since 1898, providing handmade boots of the finest natural rubber. Now Finland's most iconic boot brand has teamed up with talented, forward-thinking Finnish shoe designer Julia Lundsten, best known for her experimental yet wearable designs at her London-based label FINSK, to create a collection of stylish and practical rain boots designed for city wear.

Julia Lundsten’s collection for Nokian Footwear was designed to reflect the Scandinavian way of dressing and stays true to Lundsten’s unique vision, with the emphasis on the materials, allowing the natural rubber to become the main design feature without the need for extra decoration. The construction needed for outdoor and agricultural wellington boots is simplified and reduced to create modern stylish boots that emulate the feel of a leather boot. The new collaborative collection successfully combines the values that are most important to Nokian Footwear and Julia Lundsten - high quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and unique Finnish design - to create contemporary rain boots perfect for the city.

Nokian Footwear is a specialist in high quality rubber footwear with over 100 years of experience working with natural rubber. Nokian Footwear is known for creating soft, durable boots with an excellent fit. Each boot is made using the finest natural rubber, a renewable resource that is durable and extremely flexible, providing enhanced comfort and protection from water. Nokian Footwear’s extensive research and knowledge of the Northern climate mean the boots perform outstandingly in demanding conditions and can be worn throughout the year.
